I stood under the streetlight and looked out into the darkness. The duffle bad I had slung over my shoulder seemed heavier and heavier as the seconds ticked away. I heaved a sigh and slipped the bag off my shoulder and onto the sidewalk at my feet. That darkness out there holds my future, I thought. Anything at all could happen. This small town holds nothing for me. I stayed in the pool of lamplight a moment longer and continued to think. I nudged my duffle with the toe of my shoe and went over everything I had packed. Enough clothes to scrape by and all the money I had… Which was not a lot, I wasn't willing to take, or er, steal any money

Of Rap Music and Final Exams

So Final Exams are here. And I think I am about as prepared as I can be. I hope I do well. I feel good about the first half of my French Reading/Writing/Speaking Proficiency. =) Let's all just hope I can feel as about the rest of my Finals. -gulps- Also... Rap music. A menace to society.
